This page explains which cookies suitesanmartino.it uses, what they do and how you can choose which to accept. For everything else about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Notice.
What they are
Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. They make it work, remember your preferences and, in some cases, help us understand how it is used or measure whether our advertising works.
The ones that make the site work
These are always set, because without them the site does not work. They do not require your consent.

The anti-spam check on the newsletter form. The newsletter sign-up form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells a person from an automated program. It exists to stop anyone signing someone else’s address up to the newsletter. You will find it in the form at the foot of the page and in the sign-up window, so on every page of the site.
We measured this rather than taking it from the documentation: it writes no cookie on our domain and leaves nothing in your browser’s local storage. For it to work, your browser contacts challenges.cloudflare.com, which receives your IP address and some technical information about the request. This is processing necessary for the security of the form, so it does not depend on consent: without it, anyone’s address could be signed up by a stranger.
Statistics
These run only if you agree. They tell us how many people visit and which pages they read, in aggregate form.

Video
Our videos are on YouTube, embedded in privacy-enhanced mode: until you press play, YouTube receives nothing and sets no cookies. If you start a video, YouTube may set VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE (6 months) and YSC (session), under its own notice.
What we store in your browser without using cookies
The newsletter sign-up window stores two pieces of information in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). They are not cookies: they are never sent to us or to anyone else, they stay on your device, and they exist only so that we do not show you the same window again. They are written only if you interact with that window: if you neither close it nor subscribe, nothing is stored.

You can delete them at any time from your browser settings, together with the site’s other data. We also count, in purely aggregate form, how many times that window is shown, closed or used to subscribe, broken down by language and layout: these are daily totals, with no cookies, no identifiers and nothing that could be traced back to you. The email address you give us when subscribing is handled as described in our Privacy Notice.
Changing your mind
You can change your choices at any time from the cookie preferences panel.
Withdrawal applies from that moment onwards. You can also delete cookies already stored, or block them, from your browser settings: some parts of the site may then not work as intended.

Third-party cookies are governed by their own notices: Google and YouTube, Meta, iubenda, Beddy, Cloudflare.
