A gift for two can be time, in an apartment that is theirs alone for those hours. At Suite San Martino, in the historic centre of Martina Franca, that might be an afternoon — the heated pool, the sauna, the terrace — or a whole night, with breakfast in the morning. The voucher does not ask you to choose the date today.
Think about the people who will receive it before you think about extras. Do they live nearby, already have a trip to Puglia in mind, or need a reason to take a break? The right voucher is the one that fits the time they actually have.
The short answer

If the gift is meant for a Saturday, the configurator includes an overnight stay with the Saturday rate already covered, so nothing is left to top up for that day. The journey matters too. Day Use suits anyone who lives nearby or already has a place to stay in Puglia. For anyone travelling from further away, a night fits the trip more easily. What decides is how the couple will use it.
An apartment that is only theirs
On many wellness breaks, private means a treatment room for an hour. Here it means the apartment. At Suite San Martino the heated indoor pool, the sauna and the Turkish bath stay for the couple alone. No other guest shares them.
A massage is arranged differently. The therapist comes into the Suite at the agreed time, for a treatment of about fifty minutes. If stairs or access might matter, ask us before you buy.
Four occasions, four ways to choose
A birthday: start from a real preference
A slow morning, an evening with no need to go out, a few hours and no suitcase: begin with what the person celebrating actually enjoys. If the gift is for friends, keep both of them in mind and leave the shape of that time to them.
An anniversary: a line only you would write
The message carries the gift, even on the simplest stay. “For the afternoon we’ve been putting off for months” is already enough. If it has to be the anniversary itself, check availability before you buy: an online voucher does not hold that day.
Valentine’s Day: the voucher now, the stay later
You can hand it over on 14 February and come to the Suite another time. That is the sensible path when shifts or family make mid-February difficult. The surprise is the voucher. The day is chosen afterwards, together.
Christmas: the moment of giving
It can be the break that waits until the holidays are over, with nothing extra squeezed into December. Once payment is confirmed, the PDF arrives. Print it, or put it in an envelope with a few lines in your own handwriting.
The message first, then the extras
Write a sentence that could only be yours: a memory, a wish, an invitation to take that time. Then, if you want, add a service you know they would like. A massage and a romantic dinner are two different gifts. The voucher does not need both.
Extras are paid for at purchase and listed on the voucher as already settled. They are booked with our partners only when the date is agreed, and only if they are available. Paying for a massage does not reserve the appointment. If that service is the point of the surprise, say so before the day is fixed.
From the voucher to the day of the stay
- Choose and personalise. In the configurator you select the package, any extras and your message. Before paying, reread the summary, the purchaser’s email address and the conditions.
- Pay. Payment is taken on Stripe, with the methods offered for that purchase. The voucher is prepared only once payment is confirmed. Until then, the PDF is not sent.
- Receive the document. The PDF arrives at the purchaser’s email, not at the address of the person receiving the gift.
- Give it. Print it, or forward it privately, together with what you want to say in person.
- The date is agreed. Whoever holds the voucher contacts us with the PDF or its private verification link, by email, phone or WhatsApp. We check availability for the Suite and for any extras.
The voucher is valid for 12 months from the issue date printed on it. It is worth writing a few weeks ahead: the days people want most go first. If one date is essential, contact us before you buy. An online purchase creates an open-dated voucher only. If that day is free, we reserve it and still prepare a voucher with the date already confirmed, ready to put in an envelope.
What is worth knowing before you buy
- How do I give it without showing the price?
- Share only the voucher PDF. It shows the package, any extras and your message. It does not show the price. The amount stays in the purchase email, which you keep.
- Might the chosen date cost more, or less?
- Rates change with the day: weekends, high season, holidays and special events. If the rate is higher than the amount on the voucher, we say so before confirming. The difference can be paid by card or in cash, or you can choose another day. If the rate is lower, we refund the difference. If you prefer, it can go towards an extra.
- What if an extra is unavailable?
- We say so straight away. You can choose an equivalent service, another date when that service is free, or a refund of that extra alone, within 14 days. The rest of the voucher stays valid. If the alternative costs more, only the difference is due. If it costs less, we refund the difference.
- Can the voucher be passed on?
- Yes. Whoever receives the PDF and its private verification credential can use it, even if the name is different. Treat the document and the QR as you would a bearer ticket, and do not post them online. The reference code on its own is not enough.
- What if the date has to move?
- Once a date is agreed, the stay follows our booking terms: cancellation is free until 14 days before arrival. This is a gift, so the voucher is not refunded in cash. Cancel within that window and it becomes available again; a new date is then chosen together. If something comes up at the last moment, write to us. Where we can, we move the stay. If the new date falls after the voucher expires, its validity is extended to that stay. The detail is in the gift voucher sales conditions.
- Can I cancel the purchase?
- Within 14 days of buying, you can withdraw without giving a reason, using the withdrawal form or by writing to info@suitesanmartino.it. The refund is in full, by the same payment method. Withdrawal is no longer available once the stay has been taken. If, at your request, an extra had already been committed with a partner, only that portion remains due and the rest is refunded.
